The Alpe-Adria-Trail leads from the Grossglockner, the highest mountain in Austria, to Muggia in the Bay of Trieste in Italy. The long-distance hiking trail opens up the ancient, historically connected cultural area between the summits of the three thousand metre peaks and the Mediterranean.
Some of the stages of this “Garden of Eden” filled with charming landscapes lead hikers along the "Weg der Liebe. Sentiero dell´amore": here garnets sparkle along the way and specially designed places invite you to stop for a while with a view of Lake Millstätter See and the mountain world.
