Treat yourself to a unique holiday accomodation that has it all: the luxury of a spacious detached Holiday HOUSE or a spacious Holiday APARTMENT with all modern comfort located in a relaxing parklike garden overlooking Lake Millstatt and the surrounding mountain scenery from the gentle slope of a hill above the village of Seeboden. Nonetheless, both our holiday accomodations are as close as a 10 minutes’ walk to the village center.
Our Holiday HOUSE “Auf der Raun 6” with its total size of 250 m² accomodates up to 14 adults plus an optional total of up to 3 children in children’s beds (with an age from 0 to 3 years). We offer more than just a place to lay your head at night – we offer unrivalled space for your holiday to unfold. With the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on two floors, the third (=top) floor is all about actually living your holiday to the fullest: with a fully equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with panorama windows overlooking the surrounding mountains and the lake this is the strategic hub to plan your adventures, start into a day full of outdoor activities or kick back after a day at the beach or a daytrip.
For smaller groups of up to 5 adults (plus possibility of 1 child in a children’s bed) our Holiday APARTMENT “Auf der Raun 4” offers independent holidaying in a fully equipped ground floor apartment with a total size of 126 m² looking out onto lake, mountains and a spacious private terrace leading onto the spacious parklike garden.
A home away from home …
Both our Holiday HOUSE and the Holiday APARTMENT make self-catering easy: with fully equipped kitchens, an early morning bakery delivery service (during the summer months) or fresh garden herbs ready for you to pick. Should you not be in the mood for cooking yourself, you will be happy to find a well-frequented traditional restaurant in walking distance of only 500 m: Gasthof Bierwirt http://www.gasthof-bierwirt.at.
Our commitment to making your holiday hassle-free and tailored to your taste goes a long way – additional to facilities such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, an outdoor clothes line, a barbecue and satellite TV (on two different floors in the Holiday HOUSE), we are also happy to offer the following upon request: WIFI, children’s beds, high chairs, baby alarm, baby changing mats and bottle warmers.

There’s plenty to be discovered around the impressive environment of Lake Millstatt: the lake is not only renowned for its high water quality (drinking water) and, thus, the quality of its fish but it is also ideal for swimming. Moreover, you will find a well-developed network of ferry routes accross the lake to complement the multiple hiking and cycling paths of the region. The peaks of the surrounding mountains (being 2,100 metres high and more) offer numerous leisure facilities ranging from cable cars and mountain roads to excursion paths for all ages and levels of physical fitness. Seeboden borders onto the National Park Hohe Tauern and the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. The stunning glacier tongues of the “Großglockner”, Austria’s highest mountain (3,900 metres), are only 90 kilometres away. All year-skiing facilities can be found on the Mölltal Glacier, the closest glacier to Seeboden. If you are an adventurous spirit, you may also be interested to hear that the region offers the possibility of bungee jumping from Europe’s highest dam wall.
Both our Holiday HOUSE and our Holiday APARTMENT are located in a quiet yet sunny spot on the edge of the village within a few minutes’ walk from the village centre of Seeboden (800 m) as well as from the lakeside promande (1.3 km).

Our Holiday HOUSE “Auf der Raun 6”: Space For Your Holiday Experience To Unfold
Three floors, 250 m² of living space, a roof-covered veranda and a spacious garden terrace – our Holiday HOUSE “Auf der Raun 6” is a spacious detached house ideal for large groups of up to 14 people. Modern facilities and installations such as an air-to-water heat pump, underfloor heating / electric storage ovens etc. give our guests every comfort they would wish for.
A loft-like living area with leather seating arrangements and satellite TV as well as an open and fully-equipped kitchen with its connected dining area allow for lively social interaction and meals together on the top floor, while the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (located on the two floors below) offer not only places to sleep but also quiet corners to stay away from the group for a while. The conservatory with panorama windows as well as the roof-covered veranda offer an ideal setting for anybody seeking relaxation.
A closer look at the individual floors:
Top Floor: Street entrance directly accessible by car via “Auf der Raun 6”: loft-like living room with fully-equipped kitchen and dining area.

By car …
Seeboden may easily be reached by car if you take the motorway A10 Tauernautobahn (Exit Spittal-Millstättersee).
By train …
If you wish to take the train you will be pleased to learn that Seeboden is only a few kilometers away from the district capital Spittal an der Drau with its railway station Spittal/Millstättersee which is a well-served connection to the national and international railway network of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
Guests who travel by train are able to benefit from the so-called train-station shuttle service at a reduced price! Thanks to the Millstättersee Inclusive Cards (MIC) which all our guests obtain free of charge, we are happy to issue an email voucher entitleing guests to a reduced fee for the train-station shuttle.
