At 8.00 a.m., we travel leisurely through the Karawanken tunnel via Bled and Ljubljana to Piran.
The old coastal town with its medieval ring wall is protected as a cultural and historical monument.
The narrow alleyways with their closely packed houses emphasise Piran's Mediterranean character.
After a delicious lunch, the afternoon is at leisure before returning home at 3.30 pm.
