Five-time Latin Grammy winner TOMATITO is one of the greatest flamenco guitarists of our time and epitomises flamenco nuevo like no other. Born José Fernández Torres in Almería in southern Spain, he was discovered by Paco de Lucía at the age of twelve and later played alongside the famous flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla for two decades. Tomatito combines traditional flamenco with jazz, rock, blues and bossa nova with virtuosity and a captivating wealth of ideas. Accompanied by his equally famous son José del tomate on guitar and a high-calibre ensemble of singers, percussionists and dancers, visitors can expect a spectacular flamenco night for all the senses: both traditional and highly modern.
