Bergfriedhütte

The Bergfriedhütte is a charming retreat at 1,780m above sea level and a wonderful excursion destination for young and old. This little paradise above Lake Millstatt can be easily reached on foot via hiking trail 563 (via Trebesing) or hiking trail 564 (via Altersberg). Of course, you can also easily reach the Bergfriedhütte by car - please note that this is a toll road.

The Bergfriedhütte is not only an excursion destination, but also the starting point for many beautiful hikes. From the hut you can reach the Steinkopf (1 h), the Stoder (1.5 h) or the Gmeineck (2 h). The hut also offers overnight accommodation.
