Hauptplatz Seeboden

The municipal area of Seeboden stretches across the western bay of Lake Millstätter See from Wolfsberg in the south to Tschiernock in the north. Seeboden lies in the immediate neighbourhood of the district capital Spittal an der Drau. The main town of Seeboden, a scattered settlement without a historic centre, developed as a result of tourism from the villages of Gritschach, Kraut, Reich and Wirlsdorf.

The main square is home to the municipal office with tourist office, the Sitzwohl café, the general practitioner Dr Zlanabitnig, the Waltraud shoe shop, the post office, Haller's Genussladen and the police station.
