The beginnings of the Music Weeks Millstatt go back to the year 1977, when Millstatt celebrated "900 years of Millstatt Abbey". A newly acquired Marcussen organ was the basis for the "International Organ Music Weeks". These developed into the Music Weeks, which invite a successful mix of stars and up-and-coming talent every year, to the delight of locals and guests alike.
